The Annual General Meeting of the Sargodha Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry was held in a dignified manner. Detailed discussions were carried out on the promotion of business activities, women’s economic empowerment, and future initiatives.
During the meeting, the chamber’s performance was reviewed, and consultations were held regarding the future course of action. Newly inducted members were formally introduced, and their professional backgrounds and business capabilities were appreciated. They were congratulated on becoming part of the chamber. Participants expressed that the inclusion of new members would further strengthen the institution and create new opportunities for women.
On this occasion, special prayers were offered for the departed souls of Dr. Kausar Raees and Dr. Haroon Rasheed. The participants prayed that Almighty Allah grants them a high مقام in Jannat-ul-Firdous and bestows patience upon their families.
The meeting also emphasized the importance of networking and strengthening mutual connections. Open discussions were held on the challenges faced by women in the business sector and their possible solutions. Participants reaffirmed their commitment to making the chamber’s platform more active, empowering women, and aligning them with modern business requirements.
Office bearers present at the meeting included Founder President Mrs. Shamim Aftab, Founder Senior Vice President Saadia Khan, Founder Vice President Tanzila Riaz, Founder Executive Member Dr. Humeira Azhar, Acting President Sameera Harira, and Executive Members Qaisra Ismail, Shazia Arshad, and Muniza Anwar Goyandi. They expressed their views and reiterated their resolve to play a strong role in the development of the chamber and the welfare of women.
