
A significant and special meeting was held between child rights expert Iftikhar Mubarak and SPO Punjab Head Shahnawaz Khan on the occasion of his visit to the office of Strengthening Participatory Organization (SPO).
During the meeting, a detailed discussion was held on the social situation, particularly focusing on the laws related to children’s rights in Punjab, their effective implementation, and the challenges being faced. On this occasion, Iftikhar Mubarak emphasized the need for practical measures regarding the protection, education, and welfare of children. He stated that a coordinated strategy among all relevant institutions is essential to ensure the implementation of laws.
SPO Punjab Head Shahnawaz Khan also expressed his commitment that the organization will further accelerate its efforts for the protection and well-being of children. He said that raising awareness about children’s rights among all segments of society is the need of the hour.
It was agreed during the meeting that mutual cooperation will be further strengthened to ensure the protection of children’s rights, so that a safe and better society can be established.
