President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have reaffirmed Government’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting press freedom.
In his message on World Press Freedom Day being observed today, the President called upon the citizens to reject falsehood and support credible journalism.
In his message, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif assured a conducive environment for media to operate.
He said timely dissemination of accurate, impartial, and unbiased information remains the cornerstone of credible journalism.
