On May 3, World Press Freedom Day was observed in Pakistan as well as across the globe. The purpose of observing this day is to highlight the importance and sacrifices of journalists who work tirelessly day and night and dedicate themselves to their professional duties.
These views were expressed by senior journalist Dr. Nadeem Chaudhry, Information Secretary of District Press Club Mianwali, while speaking to the media. He further stated that journalists around the world are currently facing numerous challenges and difficulties.
He emphasized that, in recognition of their valuable services, it is essential to ensure comprehensive protection for journalists in the country and to provide them with all necessary facilities and benefits.
