A dignified and prestigious ceremony was held at the residence (Dera) of Mian Iftikhar Ahmad in Soon Valley, Sodhi Bala. The Attorney General of Pakistan, Malik Mansoor Usman Awan, attended the event as the chief guest.
The ceremony was graced by notable personalities of the area, including Malik Ameer Haider Singhha Awan, Mian Safdar, Mian Ashraf, Mian Sajjad, Mian Niaz, former Chairman Malik Zafar, Major (R) Malik Azhar Awan, Mian Abid Hayat, Mian Tanveer-ul-Hassan Kordhi, Malik Usman-ul-Haq Awan, Malik Azam Shahal, and other respected members of the community, who warmly welcomed the chief guest.
Addressing the gathering, Malik Mansoor Usman Awan expressed his heartfelt happiness and satisfaction at being among the people of his area. He stated that true development of any region is only possible when people have access to education, healthcare, and basic facilities.
He further added that Soon Valley is rich in natural resources, and the ongoing development initiatives are not a favor but a part of his responsibility. He emphasized that the purpose of development projects is not only to improve infrastructure but also to elevate the standard of living of the common people, and such efforts will continue consistently in the future.
During the ceremony, local dignitaries appreciated the efforts of the Attorney General and paid tribute to his services. They expressed hope that under his leadership, the region will continue to progress and public issues will be addressed effectively.
