A ceremony marking the anniversary of the “Battle of Truth” was held at the Sargodha Press Club, where Commissioner Sargodha Division, Hafiz Shaukat Ali, attended as the chief guest.
During the event, Commissioner Sargodha, Director Information Naeem Malik, President Press Club Abdul Hanan Chaudhry, General Secretary Kamran Malik, and other office-bearers cut a cake and paid tribute to the sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces.
Addressing the ceremony, Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali said that the success of Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos is a matter of pride for the entire nation and that the Pakistani media also played an important role in this achievement. He further stated that under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Pakistan successfully foiled the enemy’s malicious intentions.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, special prayers were offered for the security, progress, and stability of the country.
