In line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar to provide modern and convenient policing services to the public, DPO Khushab Dr. Ammara Shirazi formally inaugurated the Police Service Center in Nowshera.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ammara Shirazi said that residents of Nowshera previously had to travel nearly 40 kilometers to Jauharabad to obtain driving licenses. However, facilities for motorcycle and motorcar driving licenses will now be available directly at the Nowshera Police Service Center.
She further stated that essential police services, including police character certificates and other basic facilities, will now be provided to the public at their doorstep, helping citizens save both time and resources.
SP Investigation Khushab Saeedullah Khan, DSP Headquarters Khushab, and District Traffic Officer Khushab were also present alongside the DPO during the inauguration ceremony.
The DPO reiterated that Punjab Police remains committed to ensuring timely and high-quality public services under its people-friendly policing policy.
