Pakistan have announced their squad for the Australia ODI Series 2026, with star pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi named as captain and Salman Ali Agha appointed vice-captain.
The squad features a mix of experienced campaigners and emerging young talent as Pakistan prepare for the highly anticipated ODI series against Australia. Former captain Babar Azam, fast bowlers Harris Rauf and Naseem Shah, along with all-rounder Shadab Khan, are among the notable inclusions.
Young prospects Abdul Samad, Ahmed Daniyal, Arafat Minhas, Maaz Sadaqat, Shamyl Hussain, and Sufyan Moqim have also earned places in the squad, highlighting the selectors’ focus on building depth for the future.
The wicketkeeping responsibilities will be shared by Muhammad Ghazi Ghori and Rohail Nazir.
