Exceptional cleanliness arrangements were made across Khushab District during Eid-ul-Adha under the Punjab Government’s Suthra Punjab Program. The Eid cleanliness operation was successfully completed ahead of the prescribed deadline. Deputy Commissioner Khushab Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Aabir personally supervised the operation throughout the three days of Eid, ensuring its effective implementation.

The public and social circles highly appreciated the outstanding performance of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Aabir, Managing Director Suthra Punjab Ghazala Kanwal, Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Abdullah Khan, Assistant Commissioner Khushab Chaudhry Ziaullah, and other officials of the district administration. Their effective planning, tireless efforts, and prompt response ensured the successful execution of the cleanliness operation across the district.

Comprehensive arrangements were also made for sanitation, security, smooth traffic flow, and the provision of public facilities during Eid-ul-Adha. Under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Aabir, District Police Officer Dr. Amara Shirazi, the Additional Deputy Commissioner General, MD Suthra Punjab Ghazala Kanwal, ADC Revenue Abdullah Khan, Assistant Commissioner Chaudhry Ziaullah, and the District In-Charge of Suthra Punjab, special measures were taken to facilitate citizens throughout the three days of Eid.

Washrooms and ablution areas at Eid grounds and mosques were thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with phenyl. Cleaning and washing operations continued in roads, markets, streets, residential neighborhoods, and designated animal sacrifice sites throughout Eid. During the operation, 16,610 kilograms of lime, 1,200 liters of phenyl, and 320 liters of rose water were utilized.
Awareness camps and collection points were established in all four tehsils of the district. Food and drinking water were also distributed among Suthra Punjab workers. Deputy Commissioner Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Aabir, MD Suthra Punjab Ghazala Kanwal, and Assistant Commissioner Chaudhry Ziaullah conducted numerous visits to the awareness camps around the clock. The Deputy Commissioner personally supervised the distribution of disposal bags to facilitate the proper handling of sacrificial animal remains.

Field staff remained actively engaged in the timely collection and disposal of animal offal, improving sanitation standards and providing a clean environment for residents. A total of 5,845 tons of animal remains and waste were safely disposed of across the district.

Despite the Eid holidays, officers and staff of the district administration and relevant departments continued to perform their duties diligently, resulting in a highly satisfactory cleanliness situation throughout Khushab District. Citizens welcomed the administration’s efforts and praised its commitment to public service.

At the conclusion of the cleanliness operation, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Aabir offered special prayers for the country’s peace, prosperity, and the continued success of the Suthra Punjab Program. He also distributed meals among sanitation workers and commended their dedication and invaluable services in maintaining cleanliness during Eid-ul-Adha.
