A dignified ceremony was held at the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) House in Jauharabad to commemorate Youm-e-Takbeer. The event was attended by a large number of party leaders, office-bearers, and workers from across the district.
Among those present were PML-N District Khushab President and former Senator Dr. Ghaus Muhammad Khan Niazi, District General Secretary and former Member of the Provincial Assembly Malik Karam Elahi Bandial, newly elected Member of the Provincial Assembly Sardar Zafar Abbas Khan Baloch, President of the PML-N Lawyers Forum District Khushab Advocate Chaudhry Arshad Mahmood, along with numerous party workers and organizational officials.
Speaking on the occasion, the participants highlighted the historic significance of Youm-e-Takbeer, stating that May 28, 1998, remains a golden chapter in Pakistan’s history when the country demonstrated its defense capability through successful nuclear tests, ensuring national sovereignty and security. They described the day as a symbol of national unity, determination, and self-reliance.
The participants raised slogans in support of former Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and paid tribute to his leadership and contributions to strengthening Pakistan’s defense. They also commended Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for their leadership and services in the success of the recent Marka-e-Haq.
The attendees expressed concern regarding the health of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and offered special prayers for her speedy and complete recovery. The ceremony concluded with collective prayers for Pakistan’s peace, stability, prosperity, and continued progress.
