Prominent religious and social figure and active member of the District Peace Committee, Sahibzada Qazi Usman, has said that Islam teaches peace, love, tolerance, brotherhood, and harmony. He emphasized that promoting unity among Muslims, mutual respect, and tolerance during the sacred month of Muharram is the need of the hour to ensure a peaceful and harmonious society.
Speaking to the media, he said that the golden teachings of Islam serve as a guiding light for humanity. He added that by sincerely following these teachings, people can achieve success in both this world and the Hereafter. He further stated that the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) promote love, patience, tolerance, and service to humanity, and these values should be reflected in daily life.
Sahibzada Qazi Usman said that, as in previous years, the District Peace Committee of Khushab will continue to play its role during Muharram by fully cooperating with the district administration and law enforcement agencies to maintain peace, promote inter-sect harmony, and strengthen religious tolerance.
He also appealed to the public to act responsibly, promote unity and solidarity, and avoid any actions that could undermine social harmony and peaceful coexistence.
Expressing his commitment, he said that scholars, spiritual leaders, and citizens belonging to all schools of thought would work together to make Khushab a shining example of peace, brotherhood, and religious harmony, and would demonstrate exemplary unity during Muharram.
