Renowned businessman, international cyclist, and biker tourist Salman Hameed Khokhar hosted a grand mango party at his residence, Khokhar Palace in Green Fort, in honor of a delegation from the Pakistan Media Writers Club.
The delegation, led by Chairman Iftikhar Khan, attended the event. Prominent participants included senior journalist Fazal Hussain Awan, General Secretary Nabeela Akbar, Muhammad Shoaib Mirza, Dr. Fazilat Bano, Farzana Chaudhry, Asim Latif Chaudhry, Syed Badr Saeed, Asad Naqvi, Muhammad Shehzad, Muhammad Shahid Hanif, Dr. Areeba, Hamid Ali, Muhammad Ammar Khan, and several other distinguished guests.
The hosts, the well-known biker couple Salman Hameed Khokhar and Dr. Shamta Sofia, arranged the event in a warm and elegant manner. Guests enjoyed a wide variety of delicious mangoes in the spacious, lush green lawn of the residence. Refreshing chilled raw mango drinks were also served to help beat the summer heat and balance the sweetness of the fruit.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, Ahsan Barlas entertained the audience with melodious songs accompanied by soothing guitar performances, earning enthusiastic applause from the guests.
Later, Pakistan Media Writers Club Chairman Iftikhar Khan, club members, and distinguished personalities from various walks of life—including Aziz Ahmed Jamali, Anwar Aziz Chandio, Humayun Khan of Marina Club, Tauqeer Rana, Chairman Atlas Honda, Dr. Umar Khan, Barrister Adnan Khan, Asma, Umar, and others—were presented with souvenirs by Salman Hameed Khokhar and Dr. Shamta Sofia in recognition of their outstanding contributions and achievements.
The memorable mango party concluded with a group photo session, marking the end of a delightful and well-organized gathering.
