Pakistan’s security forces continued Operation Shaaban in Balochistan, with the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, and Police conducting coordinated operations against militants in the province.
According to security sources, nine militants were killed during the latest operations. The militants, who were hiding in remote mountainous terrain and difficult-to-access areas, were targeted through coordinated ground and aerial operations.
With the latest action, the total number of militants killed during Operation Shaaban has risen to 52.
Security officials further stated that since July 5, a total of 88 militants have been killed in Operation Shaaban and other intelligence-based operations (IBOs) carried out across the region.
The ongoing operations are aimed at eliminating militant hideouts, restoring peace, and strengthening security across Balochistan. Authorities said security forces remain committed to continuing operations until the area is fully cleared of militant threats.
