In line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and the directives of the Inspector General of Punjab Police, District Police Officer (DPO) Khushab, Dr. Ammara Shirazi, held an Open Court (Khuli Katcheri) at the Ladies Park in the jurisdiction of Quaidabad Police Station.
A large number of citizens attended the open forum and presented their complaints and issues directly to the DPO. Dr. Ammara Shirazi listened to the public’s concerns and issued on-the-spot instructions to the relevant officers for their prompt resolution.
Speaking on the occasion, the DPO said that the series of open courts had been initiated to bridge the gap between the police and the public, strengthen mutual trust, and ensure easy access to justice.
DSP Quaidabad Circle Ghazi Abdul Rehman and SHO Quaidabad Ijaz Ahmed were also present during the event.
Addressing the participants, Dr. Ammara Shirazi further stated that resolving public issues on a priority basis is her foremost commitment and remains the top priority of Khushab Police.
