Commissioner Sargodha Division Hafiz Shaukat Ali chaired a meeting of the Divisional Strategic Reserves Administrative Committee. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Commissioners of Khushab, Mianwali, Bhakkar, and Sargodha, along with officers from the relevant departments.
During the meeting, the Commissioner directed the district administrations to ensure strict implementation of the government’s official flour prices under all circumstances. He ordered an effective crackdown against those charging above the notified rates and emphasized firm action to curb hoarding and the illegal transportation of essential commodities.
He also instructed the authorities to further strengthen monitoring and enforcement at inter-provincial checkpoints to prevent the unlawful movement of strategic reserves and ensure the uninterrupted availability of essential commodities for the public.
