Regional Director of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), Sargodha, Nasreen Akhtar Mirza, has announced the official commencement of admissions for the Fall 2026 Semester. She urged prospective students to submit their applications before the prescribed deadlines to secure admission for the new academic session.
Speaking to the media, Nasreen Akhtar Mirza said that admissions are open for a wide range of academic programs, including Matriculation, FA, I.Com, DAE, Associate Degree, BA, BS, B.Ed., Postgraduate Diploma, MA, MSc, MPhil, and PhD. Admissions are also being offered for various short courses and professional programs to help students enhance their academic qualifications and professional skills.
She stated that the admission process has been made more convenient through the use of modern technology. Students can now complete the entire admission process from home using the AIOU Official Mobile App, including online registration, submission of admission forms, uploading the required documents, and payment of fees. She added that this facility is particularly beneficial for students living in remote areas, working professionals, and women.
The Regional Director further informed that the last date for admission to Matriculation, FA, I.Com, DAE, Associate Degree, BA, BS, and other open learning programs is August 10, 2026, while the deadline for MA, MSc, MPhil, PhD, and other selected programs is August 24, 2026.
