A certificate distribution ceremony under Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s “Apna Khet Apna Rozgar” programme was held in Joharabad. Deputy Commissioner Khushab Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber attended the event as the chief guest.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the national anthem of Pakistan. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Khurram Hameed performed the duties of stage secretary.

Among those present were Assistant Commissioner Khushab Tariq Mehmood, Assistant Commissioner Quaidabad Haseeb-ur-Rehman, Assistant Commissioner Noorpur Thal Shazia Rehman, Malik Saad Bashir Awan (representing MNA Malik Shakir Bashir Awan), Engineer Malik Tahir Nadeem Baghour (Coordinator to Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Communications Engineer Malik Gul Asghar Baghour), Malik Rizwan Bhah Advocate (Coordinator to MPA Malik Muhammad Asif Bhah), former Senator Dr. Ghaus Muhammad Khan Niazi, former MPA Malik Karam Elahi Bandial, Pir Syed Museeb Raza Shah (Coordinator to MPA PP-83 Sardar Zafar Khan Baloch), revenue officers, and a large number of successful applicants selected through the ballot from the tehsils of Khushab, Quaidabad, and Noorpur Thal.

Addressing the ceremony, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber said that under the “Apna Khet Apna Rozgar” programme, successful beneficiaries are being provided five acres of agricultural land on lease for ten years at an annual rent of PKR 100 per acre.

He described the programme as an excellent initiative of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, aimed at creating employment opportunities and improving the livelihoods of deserving people.

He further stated that certificates were distributed to 6 successful beneficiaries from Tehsil Khushab, 35 from Tehsil Quaidabad, and 350 from Tehsil Noorpur Thal. He congratulated all the successful applicants on their selection.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Deputy Commissioner, along with political representatives from Khushab District, distributed certificates among the successful beneficiaries.
