Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif says mega projects of water drainage, sewerage and road construction are being launched across the province under the Punjab Development Programme.

Speaking at a meeting with Members of the Provincial Assembly from District Attock in Lahore today, the Chief Minister said provision of clean drinking water across Punjab is among the government’s top priorities under the Saaf Paani Project.

The Members appreciated the launch of electric bus service in Attock, saying it would particularly benefit women, students and elderly people.

They also termed the Model Village Project a revolutionary initiative for the development of rural areas.
