Former Senator Dr. Ghaus Muhammad Khan Niazi has said that the people-friendly policies of Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif are producing positive results. He appreciated the government’s practical measures to provide relief to the people, promote development projects, and improve basic public services.
Speaking exclusively to the media, Dr. Ghaus Muhammad Khan Niazi said that despite difficult economic circumstances, the present government was striving to provide maximum relief to the people. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, effective measures were being taken to strengthen the national economy, promote investment, and resolve public issues.
He said that the welfare and development initiatives launched by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for the people of the province, particularly low-income groups, farmers, students, women, and youth, were also highly commendable. The fundamental objective of these people-friendly projects was to make the lives of ordinary citizens easier and provide them with better facilities.
The former senator said that the true measure of a government’s success was the prosperity of the people and the resolution of their problems. Providing employment opportunities, quality education, healthcare, clean drinking water, better roads, and other basic facilities to the public was the real essence of public service.
Dr. Ghaus Muhammad Khan Niazi further emphasized that strong communication between the government and the people was the need of the hour. He expressed hope that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the process of public welfare and development would gain further momentum.
