A colorful ceremony featuring an exhibition of artwork and handicrafts created by special children was held at the Arts Council Sargodha under the auspices of the Special Education Department.
Former Minister of State and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Chaudhry Hamid Hamid, MNA and “Daughter of Sargodha” Iram Hamid Hamid, and Deputy Commissioner Sargodha Hussain Ahmed Raza attended the ceremony as chief guests.
A variety of beautiful artworks and handicrafts prepared by special children were displayed at the exhibition. The guests and participants highly appreciated the children’s creative abilities, talent and hard work.
The chief guests also distributed prizes and trophies among the special children who demonstrated outstanding performance and encouraged them for their achievements.
Speaking on the occasion, Chaudhry Hamid Hamid and MNA Iram Hamid Hamid appreciated the remarkable craftsmanship and creative work of the special children. They said that special children are a valuable part of society and that such activities provide them with an opportunity to showcase their abilities and build confidence.
They assured the Special Education Department of their full cooperation in organizing more such events in the future to promote and encourage the talents of special children. The efforts of the children, teachers and organizers were also appreciated at the conclusion of the ceremony.
