A video-link meeting regarding the ‘Apna Khet Apna Rozgar’ Programme was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Sargodha Division Hafiz Shaukat Ali.
The meeting was attended by the Additional Commissioner Coordination, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, and Additional Deputy Commissioners Revenue of Sargodha, Khushab and Bhakkar.
The participants reviewed the targets set under the programme, ongoing initiatives, field-level implementation, and measures to ensure that benefits reach deserving beneficiaries.
Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali said that, in line with the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, empowering farmers, strengthening the agricultural economy and creating dignified employment opportunities for rural communities are among the government’s priorities.
He directed the officers to ensure effective monitoring so that the programme’s actual benefits reach deserving people, merit and transparency are maintained, and the prescribed targets are achieved within the stipulated time.
He also instructed the officers to regularly review the programme’s progress and remove administrative hurdles without delay.
