The National Commission for Human Development (NCHD), District Khushab, in collaboration with the University of Education Lahore, Joharabad Campus, organized a comprehensive and informative training session for students under the Each One Teach One (EOTO) initiative. The session aimed to provide students with practical training in promoting literacy, conducting teaching activities, and creating educational awareness in society.

The training session was held under the supervision of Dr. Naeem Sarwar, Head of the Department of Education, while NCHD Deputy Director Muhammad Ramzan participated as a special guest. On the occasion, NCHD Master Trainers Muhammad Asif, Assistant Director Education, Muhammad Azhar, and Muhammad Waris briefed the students in detail about the objectives of the EOTO programme, teaching methodologies, and its practical aspects.

The master trainers also informed the students about their duties and responsibilities as SVTs, emphasizing that they could play an important voluntary role in promoting literacy and raising educational awareness. Various practical and interactive activities were also conducted during the training session, in which the students participated actively and showed keen interest.

The speakers expressed their commitment to involving university students in voluntary literacy promotion activities through the EOTO initiative. They said the programme would help contribute effectively towards reducing illiteracy, promoting education, and improving access to educational opportunities for disadvantaged segments of society.

At the conclusion of the session, the organizers and students expressed their resolve to play their full role in promoting education and making the mission of literacy successful.
