A delegation of the Islamabad Union of Journalists (IUJ) visited the Bhara Kahu Press Club, where detailed discussions were held on the issues faced by journalists, professional unity, and the protection of journalists’ rights.
The IUJ delegation comprised General Secretary Sardar Sajjad Tariq, Deputy General Secretary Salma Malik, Joint Secretary Rashid Abbasi, and senior journalist Haris Abbasi. Upon their arrival at the Bhara Kahu Press Club, President Muhammad Naseem Noon, General Secretary Mushtaq Abbasi, senior journalist Faisal Abbasi, and Office Secretary Hassan Mughal warmly welcomed the delegation.
During the meeting, the participants held a comprehensive discussion on various problems faced by the journalist community and agreed to work together for their resolution. They expressed their determination to further strengthen unity and solidarity among journalists and make every possible effort to address their professional and welfare-related issues.
At the conclusion, IUJ General Secretary Sardar Sajjad Tariq thanked Bhara Kahu Press Club President Muhammad Naseem Noon, General Secretary Mushtaq Abbasi, and other colleagues for their warm hospitality. He invited the president, general secretary, and members of the Bhara Kahu Press Club team to visit the Islamabad Union of Journalists’ office in G-10.
In response, Bhara Kahu Press Club President Muhammad Naseem Noon thanked the IUJ delegation and assured that he and his team would visit the IUJ office soon.
