The Islamabad Union of Journalists (IUJ) and Farooq Group of Hospitals have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide quality and discounted healthcare facilities to members of the journalist community and their families.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by IUJ President Fayyaz Tanoli, General Secretary Sardar Sajjad Tariq, Finance Secretary Sher Dil Khan, Joint Secretary Rashid Abbasi, Deputy General Secretary Salma Malik, Deputy General Secretary Arifullah, Coordinator Muhammad Saleem, Vice President Faiza Younis, Office Secretary and Cameraman Farooq Khan, and other office-bearers and members.
Representing Farooq Group of Hospitals were Dr. Saad Bin Haroon, Chief Executive Officer and Medical Superintendent; Dr. Mubashir Kazmi, Deputy Medical Superintendent; and Saad Mahmood, Head of Business Development and Marketing.
Under the MoU, members of the Islamabad Union of Journalists and their families will receive special discounts on various medical facilities, diagnostic tests, treatment services, and other healthcare services.
On the occasion, Chairman Shahnawaz Khan and other office-bearers said that the welfare of the journalist community, particularly the provision of quality and accessible healthcare facilities, was among the key priorities of the Islamabad Union of Journalists. They said the agreement with Farooq Group of Hospitals was a positive and practical welfare initiative for journalists and their families.
The IUJ office-bearers thanked the management of Farooq Group of Hospitals, particularly Dr. Saad Bin Haroon, Dr. Mubashir Kazmi, and Saad Mahmood, for their cooperation and support in making the agreement possible.
