Minister for Climate Change Musadik Malik has stressed the need to strengthen preparedness and adopt modern technology to effectively deal with the challenges posed by climate change.
Addressing a conference in Islamabad today, he highlighted the importance of satellite-based monitoring in understanding climate patterns and assessing environmental changes.
The Minister said the government has launched a ten-million-dollar start-up fund for green innovation. He said the fund would support young people in developing innovative solutions. He invited universities and young people to participate in competitions and hackathons to develop innovative and technology-based solutions for climate-related challenges.
