Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has termed the launch of Awam Pakistan party as a gathering of billionaires, whose speeches were full of contradictions.
In his reaction to the statements and claims of Awam Pakistan leaders, he said these people have been enjoying the seat of power in the past.
Referring to former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Attaullah Tarar said the people of Pakistan questioned him as to why he kept mum when he was holding the country’s most powerful seat. He further questioned as to why the people, who enjoyed the post of the Prime Minister, Petroleum Minister, and Finance Minister, could not implement the announcements they are making today.
Attaullah Tarar said what kind of politics they will do, who lack loyalty. He said on the one hand they claim that they are not power hungry, while on the other, they declare themselves as saviour.
He highlighted that whenever the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz came into power, it achieved significant success in improving people’s standard of living and the country’s development.
He said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his cabinet are contributing day and night to make Pakistan an emerging country in the economic field.
