Pakistan Navy Ship Shamsheer has visited Port Muscat, Oman during deployment on Regional Maritime Security Patrol.

According to the Pakistan Navy, the ship was received by Defence Attaché of Pakistan at Oman and officials from Royal Navy of Oman.

On the occasion Commanding Officer of PNS Shamsheer conveyed good wishes of Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi for the people of Oman.

Various bilateral activities were undertaken including table top discussions on professional matters, orientation visits and search and seizure training on-board.

Later, the crew of the ship conducted joint maritime exercise with Royal Omani Navy Ship ‘Khassab’ to enhance interoperability.
