As part of preparations for the upcoming home series against South Africa and the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, the Pakistan women’s cricket team is actively participating in an intensive training camp, now in its fifth day.
The morning session focused on physical fitness, with players undergoing a rigorous workout at the gym of a local hotel. The session included various functional exercises emphasizing strength, stamina, and conditioning. The cricketers spent approximately three hours in the gym, engaging in a variety of fitness drills.
The training session was supervised by strength and conditioning coach Asfandyar, who tailored the exercises to meet the individual fitness requirements of each player.
In the evening, the players trained at the High Performance Centre in Lahore, where they took part in technical and skill-based practice sessions.
This training camp will continue in Lahore until September 11. The objective is to enhance the players’ physical fitness, overall performance, and professional readiness ahead of the upcoming international challenges.
