Minister of National Health Services Abdul Qadir Patel has hailed Lady Health Workers for their precious and praiseworthy services for the country.

Addressing a ceremony in connection with International Women’s Day in Islamabad on Wednesday, he also thanked all the international partners for their valuable support and assistance to eradicate polio from the country.

The Minister said anti-polio drive is being run effectively and the government is making all out efforts to facilitate Lady Health Workers.

Abdul Qadir Patel also paid glowing tribute to the former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto saying that she was the first-ever female Prime Minister of the Islamic world, who made unmatched efforts for the women rights.
