Bases and Regional Commands of Pakistan Air Force are actively participating in relief and rehabilitation operations in the flood hit areas of the country.

PAF personnel are working day and night for provision of basic necessities of food, shelter, drinking water and medical assistance to the flood victims.

Emergency Response Teams are also assisting civil administration in rehabilitation and provision of medical services specifically in Dengue fever protection campaign in the flood affected areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan and Punjab.

It is pertinent to mention that PAF has so far provided 4,853 tents, 416221 food packages, 3203.67 tons of ration, 242,824 litres drinking water to the flood affectees.

Besides, forty five medical camps have been established where 58,353 patients were given medical treatment. The PAFalso carried out 257 sorties and evacuated 1521 people from the flood-affected areas.
