Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Syed Amin Ul Haque says the success of Pakistan’s economy depends on the growth of the tech industry, especially the Information Technology. 

Addressing the graduation ceremony of Tech Boot Camp in Islamabad, he said his ministry has collaborated with both public and private sector stakeholders to set a goal of 100 per cent growth in IT sector in the coming years.

The Minister said the Techlift Boot camp was started to impart world-class training to around 4,000 IT graduates.

He said the industry-driven boot camp programme, funded by the government, is specifically designed to provide the latest technology training to the youth, making them competitive in the job market.
