Caretaker Finance Minister Dr. Shamshad Akhar says the State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Policy 2023 will pave the way for a more efficient utilization of public resources.
She was chairing a meeting of the Cabinet Committee of State-owned Enterprises in Islamabad today.
The Finance Minister said the Policy represents a critical step towards restructuring and modernizing of state-owned enterprises.
She said our objective is to reduce the size of SOEs in public sector as well as to make those which remain in Public Sector to be more competitive, accountable, and responsive to the needs of our citizens.
