Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has directed to ensure timely and uninterrupted supply of fertilizer to the farmers for Rabi crop.
Chairing a meeting regarding Urea availability for Rabi crop in Islamabad on Tuesday, he emphasized the need to ensure adequate and timely arrangement for the buffer stock of fertilizer. He directed the district administration to closely monitor fertilizer prices.
The meeting was informed about the recent production and expected demand of fertilizer in the country.
The meeting was also informed about the decisions of the Economic Coordination Committee for uninterrupted supply of fertilizer.
The Prime Minister directed the relevant ministries to prepare and submit a comprehensive action plan for the uninterrupted supply of fertilizer for the Rabi crop.
