Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has called Israel an occupier in its war in Gaza.

Addressing at a massive pro-Palestinian rally in Istanbul, he repeated his stance about Hamas not being a terrorist organization.

He accused the Western powers of being main culprit behind the Israeli army’s “massacre” of Palestinians in Gaza.

Meanwhile, over eight thousand Palestinians have so far been martyred in Israeli attacks against Palestinians since the 7th of this month.

Russia says Israel’s bombardment in Gaza is against international law.

In a statement, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said, the Israeli attacks in Gaza against targets where civilians are known to be present will create a catastrophe.

He said it is necessary to stop Israeli brutalities and to announce humanitarian programmes to save the population under blockade.
