Saudi Arabia and key Arab states have called for an immediate end to the war on the Gaza Strip by declaring a complete ceasefire to ensure the protection of civilians in accordance with international humanitarian law.

A consultative meeting on Gaza chaired by Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan in Riyadh and attended by leaders of some Arab states also called for lifting all restrictions that impede the entry of humanitarian aid into the enclave.
