All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has condemned frequent use of oppressive measures and illegal ban on political parties by the authorities to suppress Kashmiris’ freedom struggle.

In a statement in Srinagar, APHC spokesman said banning peace and freedom-loving parties will not detach Kashmiri people from their righteous demand for right to self-determination.

He said the fresh attempt of BJP-led Indian governments to further suppress Kashmiris by imposing a ban on jailed Masarrat Aalam Butt’s Muslim League in IIOJK is another act of brazen terrorism in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The APHC spokesman urged United Nations Human Rights Council and other rights organizations to take notice of the health condition of illegally detained Hurriyat leaders and activists.
