The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council has approved seven development projects costing around 217 billion rupees.

The ECNEC, which met in Islamabad with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar in the chair, approved the increase in scope of Irrigation component of Sindh Emergency Flood Rehabilitation Project and the revision of scope for CAREC Corridor Road infrastructure project falling in Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,

The forum also allowed the revised scope of Karachi Water Supply and Severage Improvement Project at cost of 25.4 billion rupees.

Besides, it approved the World Bank funded project GRADES aimed at improving attendance and learning outcomes in schools of Punjab.
