The President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), Nasir Mansoor Qureshi, has emphasized the urgent need for greater harmony among political and religious forces to steer the country out of its current economic crisis.
In a statement issued on Saturday, President Qureshi highlighted that the country’s economic stability and prosperity depend on collective efforts from all sectors of society. He urged leaders from diverse political and religious backgrounds to set aside differences and work together for national progress.
“Our nation is facing significant economic challenges that demand a unified approach,” said Mr. Qureshi. “All stakeholders must join, heads, hearts, and hands in pursuing political and economic stability, which is essential for ensuring sustainable growth and prosperity.”
The ICCI President stressed that political stability and policy consistency are vital for economic growth. He noted that long-term, well-structured policies create an environment conducive to investment, innovation, and sustainable development.
He further stated that fostering unity would restore investor confidence, improve the business climate, and unlock opportunities for economic advancement.
He reaffirmed ICCI’s dedication to promoting dialogue and cooperation to support economic revival and urged policymakers, business leaders, and community representatives to collaborate in building a stable and thriving Pakistan.
