Acting President Yousaf Raza Gilani has stressed the crucial role of textile industry in strengthening the national economy.
Speaking at a ceremony in the Multan Industrial Estate on Friday, he said improving cotton production, seed quality, irrigation systems, and modern agricultural research is vital for boosting the sector.
