Minister for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal, has said that Pakistan is coming out of the economic crisis and steps are being taken to strengthen the economy.
Addressing a ceremony at the Expo Center Lahore today, he said a strong economy is essential for national security and private sector has a key role in economic development.
The Planning Minister said climate change is a major challenge and green design must be included in future construction projects.
He stressed the need to protect Pakistan’s historical and cultural heritage while adopting modern construction trends.
