189 Couples Begin a New Chapter Under Punjab’s “Dhee Rani Program” in Mianwali

A graceful mass wedding ceremony was held in Mianwali under the Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s “Dhee Rani Program,” where 189 couples were respectfully united in matrimony.

On this occasion, the Government of Punjab presented a cash gift of Rs. 200,000 to each couple to help them begin their new lives with ease and dignity. The financial support aims to reduce the burden on deserving families and ensure a stable start for the newlyweds.

Provincial Minister for Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal, Sohail Shaukat Butt, attended the ceremony as the chief guest. Congratulating the newly married couples, he stated that the “Dhee Rani Program” is not merely financial assistance for underprivileged families but a symbol of dignity, support, and compassion from the provincial government.

Participants appreciated the initiative and expressed their best wishes for Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif for launching such a welfare-oriented program. The ceremony concluded in a dignified and celebratory atmosphere, reflecting the government’s commitment to social welfare and community support.
