The Education Department of the Government of Punjab has taken another significant and knowledge-friendly step to improve educational standards and provide modern facilities to students. Essential teaching and learning materials have been supplied to the ECC rooms established in government schools across District Khushab.
Deputy District Education Officer, Tehsil Noorpur Thal, Zaheer Abbas Bhatti, distributed the materials among various government schools and described the initiative as a commendable step by the Government of Punjab. Assistant Education Officer Rangpur Baghore, Malik Muhammad Imtiaz Naseem, was also present on the occasion.
Keeping in view the age and psychological needs of children, ECC rooms are being equipped in phases with colorful chairs, tables, educational charts, learning kits, toys, whiteboards, and other supportive teaching materials. The objective is to provide quality education to young learners in a pleasant and child-friendly environment.
Education officials stated that the purpose of this initiative is to develop a love for learning among children in early grades and to provide them with an environment aligned with modern educational requirements. The effective functioning of ECC rooms will not only enhance children’s mental and creative abilities but will also strengthen their attachment to school.
Parents and members of the community appreciated the initiative of the Punjab Education Department, calling it a positive step toward the promotion of education. They stated that such facilities would further restore public confidence in government schools and help reduce the growing preference for private institutions.
It is worth mentioning that the Government of Punjab is undertaking multiple reforms and improvement measures in the education sector, with the fundamental aim of providing every child with quality and equal educational opportunities. The provision of equipment for ECC rooms in District Khushab is an important part of this broader effort.
