A delegation of Jamaat-e-Islami led by Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad today.
During the meeting, the delegation was given an in-camera briefing on the current regional situation involving Afghanistan, Iran, the Middle East and the Gulf.
The delegation was taken into confidence regarding Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts and initiatives.
The Jamaat-e-Islami leadership was apprised of the steps taken by Pakistani embassies in Iran and Gulf countries to facilitate Pakistani citizens living abroad.
