Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar held telephonic conversation with Secretary-General of Commonwealth, Shirley Botchwey.
The Deputy Prime Minister conveyed that he would be unable to attend the forthcoming meetings of Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group and Commonwealth Foreign Affairs Ministers’ Meeting in London due to the ongoing and evolving regional situation.
He said that he has authorized Pakistan’s High Commissioner in London to represent Pakistan on his behalf.
Ishaq Dar underscored Pakistan’s contributions to the Commonwealth.
