
Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Punjab, Salma Butt, conducted a surprise visit to Bhakkar and reviewed various government and business facilities, including the Sasta Bazaar. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Bhakkar Ahsan Ali Jamali, President of Anjuman-e-Tajran Rana Ashraf, and teams from other relevant departments were also present with her.
During the visit, the Special Assistant carried out a detailed inspection of the prices and quality of essential food items in the markets and the Sasta Bazaar. She visited different shops and stalls and interacted directly with traders and consumers to assess the actual availability of essential items and the facilities being provided to the public.
On this occasion, Salma Bhatt appreciated the performance of the Food Department, Police, Anjuman-e-Tajran, and other relevant institutions. She said that government departments are working diligently to ensure the provision of quality and affordable food items to the public. She also urged the administration and traders that hoarding or profiteering in the markets will not be tolerated under any circumstances, and strict monitoring of prices must be ensured.
