On the occasion of World Earth Hour, an awareness rally was organized at Kashmir Chowk under the leadership of Deputy DEO Tehsil Noor Pur Thal, Zaheer Abbas Bhatti. A large number of teachers, students, and citizens participated in the rally.
The purpose of the rally was to raise public awareness about environmental protection, energy conservation, and the impacts of climate change. Participants carried banners and placards displaying messages encouraging people to avoid unnecessary use of electricity and to adopt an eco-friendly lifestyle.
Addressing the participants, Deputy DEO Zaheer Abbas Bhatti said that World Earth Hour conveys an important message to reduce energy consumption in our daily lives and to play our role in protecting the planet. He added that small actions, such as turning off unnecessary lights, can have significant positive impacts.
