
Federal Minister for Communications and Chairman of Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party, Abdul Aleem Khan, held a special meeting with Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Communications and Member of the National Assembly (Khushab), Engineer Malik Gul Asghar Khan Baghoor, and President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Australia, Malik Muhammad Nawaz Kalera.
The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere, during which detailed discussions took place on the issues faced by overseas Pakistanis, national development, and the promotion of investment.
During the meeting, Malik Muhammad Nawaz Kalera stated that overseas Pakistanis are the backbone of the national economy; therefore, resolving their issues on a priority basis is the need of the hour. He emphasized that overseas Pakistanis should be granted the right to vote so they can actively participate in national politics and increase investment in Pakistan.
Abdul Aleem Khan, after listening to the concerns of overseas Pakistanis, assured that the government is taking practical steps to facilitate Pakistanis living abroad and to address their issues. He further stated that every possible facility will be provided to the overseas community.
On this occasion, Engineer Malik Gul Asghar Khan Baghoor said that overseas Pakistanis are a valuable asset of the country, and all possible measures will continue to be taken for their welfare so they can play a significant role in the development of Pakistan.
At the conclusion of the meeting, all participants agreed to make joint efforts for national development, protection of the rights of overseas Pakistanis, and the promotion of investment.
