
A dignified ceremony was held at Government Elementary School Zafar Abad, Rangpur Baghur, to mark the birth anniversary of the Poet of the East, Allama Muhammad Iqbal. The event was presided over by Headmaster Malik Abid Iqbal, while Assistant Education Officer Malik Muhammad Imtiaz Naseem attended as the chief guest.
The proceedings were skillfully conducted by Malik Muhammad Khalid Nadeem Rahdari. On this occasion, students presented the poetry of Iqbal and received great appreciation from the audience. Their enthusiastic participation added charm and vitality to the ceremony.
Speakers highlighted Iqbal’s poetry, philosophy, and his invaluable national contributions. They encouraged students to seek guidance from his ideas and teachings. Chief Guest Malik Muhammad Imtiaz Naseem, in his address, elaborated on various aspects of Iqbal’s life and emphasized that his message promotes selfhood, unity, and action—principles that remain highly relevant today.
The ceremony concluded with a special prayer for the country’s progress, prosperity, and unity of the Muslim Ummah.
