Kundian Like other cities of the country, International Labour Day was also observed in Kundian, where a rally was organized by the Railway Prem Union from the Locomotive Shed Kundian to express solidarity with workers worldwide and to pay tribute to the martyrs of Chicago.
A large number of workers from various departments of the railway participated in the rally. The rally was led by the Central Chief Organizer of the Prem Union, Malik Ikram Kandi.
The rally started from the Locomotive Shed and concluded in front of the Kundian Chashma Press Club. Participants carried banners and placards inscribed with slogans in support of workers’ rights.
While addressing the gathering, the speakers expressed their views regarding International Labour Day and highlighted the importance of workers’ rights, dignity, and their vital role in the development of the country.
