The Home Department Punjab has issued an appreciation letter to Divisional Jail Visitor Tariq Hameed Malik. His services have also been widely praised by public and social circles.
The Home Department, Government of Punjab, formally issued the appreciation letter in recognition of his outstanding and exemplary services as a non-official visitor in the prisons of Sargodha Division. The letter commends his welfare, social, and humanitarian contributions. It was issued by Additional Secretary (Prisons), Home Department Punjab, Roman Bukhari.
According to the official communication, Tariq Hameed Malik rendered valuable services for the welfare, well-being, and rehabilitation of prisoners in various jails of the division. His continuous monitoring, regular visits, and practical measures to resolve prisoners’ issues were highly appreciated and termed effective and constructive.
The letter further states that he played a significant role in the reformation and rehabilitation of inmates at District Jail Bhakkar, District Jail Shahpur, District Jail Sargodha, High Security Jail Mianwali, and Central Jail Mianwali. His services were marked by compassion, sincerity, and a selfless spirit of welfare, which the Home Department described as exemplary.
Senior officials of the Home Department expressed hope that Tariq Hameed Malik will continue his services with the same dedication and commitment, contributing positively to the welfare of prisoners.
Public and social circles welcomed the issuance of the appreciation letter, stating that such individuals represent hope, improvement, and reform in society, and their encouragement sets a positive example for others.
On this occasion, Section Officer Hafiz Qamar Abbas also presented special gifts prepared by prisoners from various jails of Punjab to Tariq Hameed Malik.
Expressing his views, Tariq Hameed Malik said that it is a special blessing of Almighty Allah that he has been given the opportunity to serve humanity. He termed this recognition a matter of pride and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Home Department for its trust, encouragement, and appreciation. He added that, God willing, he will continue this mission and strive to expand his efforts for the welfare and betterment of prisoners.
